Shungite is a natural stone with an inherent grain structure. When the stones are delivered to us, they are polished, which means this natural grain is usually not visible. During engraving, however, parts of the stone’s natural structure may become visible again. This can sometimes appear like scratches.
What you are seeing is the original natural grain of the shungite, not surface damage.
If this natural texture is visually distracting for you, the BALANCE Pendant may not be the right product for your personal preferences.
The cord also deserves some attention: depending on how often you use it, the knot may come loose over time, or the cord may wear out. Please check it regularly and replace it if necessary so that you can wear your pendant safely for years to come.
